I've been riding the E7Pro for five months now, covering roughly 25km daily through a mix of city streets and park pathways. The dual 1000W motors provide breathtaking acceleration from traffic lights, leaving traditional bicycles and even scooters behind. The 52V battery consistently delivers 70-75km of range on speed level 5, which is more than enough for my week. I appreciate the sturdy build; even with my 90kg frame and a backpack full of laptop and gear, the bike feels planted. The hydraulic disc brakes are a revelation—powerful and progressive, even in the pouring rain. My only minor critique is the hardtail suspension; while the 4-inch tires soak up most bumps, on truly rough cobblestone streets, you feel it. That said, for the price, this is an incredible machine that has completely replaced my car for urban travel.
This bike blurs the line between urban commuter and trail explorer. On weekdays, it's my fast, reliable ride to the office. On weekends, I take it on graded forest service roads and it handles them with ease. The All-Wheel Drive is not just a marketing term; you can feel the extra traction when climbing loose gravel inclines. The 55km/h top speed is exhilarating on open, safe paths. I've found the "Max Assist Range" of 130km to be accurate if I use pedal assist levels 1-3 generously. The IP65 waterproofing has been tested through multiple thunderstorms without a hiccup. Assembling it took about 90 minutes, and the only tool I needed was the provided Allen key set. It's a substantial bike at 35kg, so lifting it onto a car rack is a two-person job, but once you're rolling, the weight contributes to a stable, confident ride.
Living in a neighborhood with relentless 15% grades, my previous e-bike struggled. The E7Pro, however, conquers them without breaking a sweat (I do, however, break a sweat from the excitement!). The instant torque from both motors makes uphill starts a breeze. I weigh 110kg, and the bike carries me and a week's groceries up steep hills without any noticeable strain on the battery. The seven-speed levels are wonderfully granular; I usually cruise on level 3 for efficiency and switch to 7 for the big hills. The 9-10 hour charging time is its biggest downside, so I just plug it in overnight. The display is bright and shows all crucial info. After 600km, it has required zero maintenance aside from tire pressure checks. Highly recommended for challenging topography.
My friends and I do weekend bike-packing trips, and the E7Pro has extended our range dramatically. On a recent trip, we covered 110km of mixed terrain using mostly pedal assist levels 2 and 4. The bike's frame has ample mounting points for my bags and water bottles. The wide 4-inch tires provide fantastic flotation on soft ground and incredible comfort on long tarmac stretches. The hardtail suspension is perfectly adequate for fire roads. While the net weight of 35kg is noticeable when loaded with camping gear, the motor assistance completely negates it while riding. The headlight is decent, but I added a brighter one for unlit country lanes. This bike has opened up a new radius of exploration for me.
I live in Annecy and ride to work and into the mountains. The EB7 Pro climbs the Col de la Forclaz (gravel side) without issue. The AWD is a revelation on steep, loose switchbacks. The 55km/h on the descent is controlled by the excellent brakes. The battery gave me 50km of climbing with regen (if I had it — it doesn’t, but range is still good). The 35kg weight is fine for the bike’s stability. For anyone in the French Alps who wants a tough e-bike, get this.
